Kanalski Vrh 1 Solar Power Plant

The Kanalski Vrh 1 Solar Power Plant (SE Kanalski Vrh 1), built in 2025, is located next to the southern dam of the pumped-storage hydropower plant reservoir in Avče, on Kanalski Vrh. It represents an important step in SENG’s expansion of electricity generation from renewable energy sources. SE Kanalski Vrh 1 is the result of thoughtful planning, ensuring harmony with the natural environment and adaptation to the terrain.

A circular walking trail runs between the solar power plant and the reservoir, offering visitors a pleasant experience of the area. The Kanalski Vrh 1 Solar Power Plant is thus more than just an energy facility – it is a part of the landscape, the local community, and a sustainable future.
